nutrient-dense chicken tenders recipe

save this recipe because it’s probably going to be your kid’s new favorite (if you don’t have any kids, I wont tell - I just ate a whole pan of these)

chicken tenders are a favorite among kids (and adults), but they are usually packed with bad ingredients - refined enriched flour, seed oils, preservatives, natural flavors…

that’s why you need to make this simple, nutrient-rich version at home! It’s so delicious, packed with protein and free from gluten and grains

here’s how to do it:

egg wash:
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp homemade mayo
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- pinch sea salt

Carnivore Crisps coating:
- 1 1.5 oz bag of Carnivore Crisps - i like to use the heart for extra nutrients!
- 1 pinch garlic powder and chili powder (optional)

Preheat your oven to 400F and cut 1 boneless skinless chicken thigh into small tenders. Mix them into the egg wash and stir to coat.

Blend the carnivore crisps in a blender or food processor, or crunch them by hand to make smaller bits. Add in the spices if using.

Coat the chicken tenders in the crisp mixture and place on a baking sheet or tray. Bake for 6 minutes and then broil for 2 minutes.

Let them cool to crisp up, then serve with your favorite dipping sauce. I paired it with a homemade honey mustard and it was ~perfection~
